Zeitouna Ann Arbor
I had the honor of meeting some of the women of Zeitouna of Ann Arbor Michigan. This is a group of Jewish and Palestinian who’s motto is “Refusing to be Enemies”. This model of creating mutual understanding is crutial and I commend these ladies for the groundbreading work that they are doing. They recently put out a very compelling documentary about their mission.
Their format of “promoting pease through dialogue and education” is one that can be reproduced and in fact, group similar to Zeitouna have been springing up all over the country. Please contact them through their website if you are interested in establishing a similar group in your area.
